About Me

I’m Caitlin, and I’m finally coming through the other side of my quarter-life crisis. I live in Florida with my spoiled little cats, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock IV and Astrid Cagney Hofferson. I had the privilege of working at the Great Movie Ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for four years and was part of the closing team, so you might have seen me as a tour guide, Mugsi Toccata, or Kate Durango. I’m now currently a guide at Kilimanjaro Safaris. When I’m not driving around in circles pointing at four different kinds of antelopes, I’m often found performing in local theatrical productions. or spending time with my giant boyfriend. Favorite things include the smell of dryer sheets, marathons of canceled TV shows, and rainy days (as long as I’m indoors at home).

Today is the day, I’ve been waiting forever It’s the first day of August, 1893 #tuckeverlasting (y’all come and audition for this in January!)

Two of my favorite people in the world share a birthday!! @nathanfromtheensemble, you are the Titus to my Kimmy and the best awards show date ever, and your snapchats give me life (when I remember to check Snapchat.) @merissadean, we have been best friends ever since you stopped mid sentence and said “you know you’re one of my best friends, right?” and before that we mastered the art of sassy conversations with only facial expressions from across a stage. July 31st is the best day since it brought two of my favorite people to me. (Unrelated: I forgot what @shaneisrad looks like without a bears)

My trip home was very very short (72 hours in fact) but I had an amazing time seeing people I love (especially seeing Keeton and Ayla, which made my heart so happy), wearing costumes that I sewed for pure pleasure, and spending time with my favorite sister @poisonapplecosplay and watching her do her thing and rock everyone’s socks off as the best girl @jackie.akaicon. I’m really hoping I can make it up to Tennessee next year for the next @akaiconofficial (and this time stay a little longer) #pandasisters #alreadyplanningcosplays

Shane and I went to Typhoon Lagoon today! We narrowly missed the actual typhoon and the power outage though. But we did go to Chicken Guy. @shaneisrad

I had a blast at the Sara Awards!! @nathanfromtheensemble was the best date ever, I got to dress all fancy and see a lot of friends, and I got a strawberry limeade from Sonic. So a great night!!
