About Me

I’m Caitlin, and I’m finally coming through the other side of my quarter-life crisis. I live in Florida with my spoiled little cats, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock IV and Astrid Cagney Hofferson. I had the privilege of working at the Great Movie Ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for four years and was part of the closing team, so you might have seen me as a tour guide, Mugsi Toccata, or Kate Durango. I’m now currently a guide at Kilimanjaro Safaris. When I’m not driving around in circles pointing at four different kinds of antelopes, I’m often found performing in local theatrical productions. or spending time with my giant boyfriend. Favorite things include the smell of dryer sheets, marathons of canceled TV shows, and rainy days (as long as I’m indoors at home).

I love taking on projects- sometimes projects that are a little too big. The first time I costumed Wedding Singer, I wasn’t prepared for the task. This time I was more than ready, and I was so lucky to have a great cast to work with. I stayed super under budget and put together a total of 201 different costume changes. And not only that, but I also performed in the show. Dancing is not my strongest suit and I know it, so I worked really hard on the multiple (intense) dance numbers and even though I sprained my ankle two weeks before we opened, I danced anyway and I’m happy with how I did. And now...onto the next shows!!

We have no fun at The Wedding Singer. No fun at all. It’s all very serious. #partylikeits1985 (come see our final weekend of shows!)

I love staying busy!! Not only do I get to dress the beautiful cast of Legally Blonde with @brightstage this fall, but I’m also going to play Kitty Verdun in Charley’s Aunt this summer! (Which means making a couple of gorgeous Victorian costumes for myself- all of my Anne Shirley dreams are coming true!) And I’ll also be making my Florida directorial debut this December at @moonlightplayers with the holiday show this season, It’s a Wonderful Life! I’m very excited to direct again after a long hiatus.
