About Me

I’m Caitlin, and I’m finally coming through the other side of my quarter-life crisis. I live in Florida with my spoiled little cats, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock IV and Astrid Cagney Hofferson. I had the privilege of working at the Great Movie Ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for four years and was part of the closing team, so you might have seen me as a tour guide, Mugsi Toccata, or Kate Durango. I’m now currently a guide at Kilimanjaro Safaris. When I’m not driving around in circles pointing at four different kinds of antelopes, I’m often found performing in local theatrical productions. or spending time with my giant boyfriend. Favorite things include the smell of dryer sheets, marathons of canceled TV shows, and rainy days (as long as I’m indoors at home).

(Really it was for a super cool project that should be debuting next week, but I will take any excuse to become Anne Shirley. When I was eighteen I walked into the Chinese Theater as a cast member for the first time. Today that building opens to a new ride, a new team, new memories. Take good care of her. Keep an eye out for the fruitcake in the ceiling (even with construction it might be around there somewhere). Tell guests about the little details that make the building so special. Be nice to the ghosts (except the guy in Alien, he was the worst). Look out for the courtyard bees. Hum “Hurray for Hollywood” every once in a while. February was a busy month for me! I got my trainer shadows at Safaris, I had a birthday, I performed in a cabaret, I ran a 10K, I started rehearsals for Tuck Everlasting. But I forgot an important one- I started a temporary assignment with Festival Disney! I’ll be there until about mid April (when Tuck opens) and I’m so excited to be part of the team!

It’s a little late for #tucktuesday, but look at this flock of Winnie Fosters! (And a wild choreographer appears in the background) Why are there so many Winnies? Last year @poisonapplecosplay ran her first 5k with me; this year was her first 10K! I should have done a Baymax shirt instead of Flynn because I definitely wasn’t fast, but I finished!
